RageHats was founded in June of 2011 in the guest house of brothers Adam and Brian in Lake Mary, FL. It was initially intended to provide party goers with a new, flashy hat to ware when attending electronic music festivals so that individuals could stand out in a crowd. Adam, the owner of the company, and younger brother Brian realized the potential of the product when touring the country in 2011 with Identity Music Festival. Some of the notable acts that toured with the Identity Music Festival included: Skrillex, Cascade Avicii, and Steve Aoki. While on tour with this mobile music festival, the unique design of RageHats caught on with all types of party-goers. At the end of the tour, Brian and Adam realized that they had a marketable product that could do wonders on the internet where sales are less hands on and the overhead is significantly lower than paying for gas and other expenses associated with touring the country.
September marked the end of the Identity Music Festival and, correspondingly, the end of a summer filled with memories that would last a lifetime. Brian and Adam decided that this marked the point in time when they would focus heavily on internet sales, but they did not have the direction needed to accomplish the goal that they had set out for themselves. In October of 2011, Adam ran into his friend from high school who had recently started to do free lance Search Engine Optimization. Adam offered to become their first potential client, and in turn was offered a free consultation regarding his idea to take RageHats to the world of internet sales. RageHats ended up being the very first experiment, and then turned into a very valued client of Rank Executives. Rank Executives ended up getting RageHats ranked #1 for ‘snapback hats’, ‘trucker hats’ and ‘neon hats’ on Google search results. Their strategy of organic growth over the course of 3 months led to the largest month of revenue for Rage Hats. In just 8 months, RageHats went from making a couple thousand dollars a month to over $40,000 in sales for the month of February, 2012. With the continual updates and constant site maintenance, Rank Executives has been successful at sustaining the search results for RageHats, as well as continuing the stream of income for Brian and Adam. To this day, RageHats remains the leader in neon hats, glasses, glow sticks and everything else you could think of that you would need to bring to a neon glow party!
